Dedication Ceremony
130 years to the day of Thomas Fleetwood's birth on September 6th 1878, and 91 years after he died of wounds in Lens, France on September 8th 1917 just two days after his 39th birthday, Thomas was welcomed home in a civic ceremony.
Our heartfelt thanks to the Royal Westminster Regiment, the Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 6 Cloverdale, and members of the RCMP whose participation reinforced the importance of honour, tradition and history in our lives.
